2010 Charitable Fund Award
The 2010 Charitable Fund Award will provide 50 Virginia residents living with a disability (applicant must meet the Social Security Administration's definition of disabled and the federal poverty guidelines) a maximum award of $250 for equipment, medication or services.
 
Retirement Research Foundation
The foundation is devoted to serving the needs of older persons in the United States. Through its General Grants Program, RRF supports direct service, advocacy, education, and training programs for professionals working directly with elders as well as research to improve quality of life and independence for vulnerable older adults.
 
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation Nursing Grant Program
The Nursing Grant Program is designed to encourage nursing research at all levels of practice to improve nursing care for children with cancer. For each of the program's three funding categories, Mentored Nurse Researcher, Intermediate Nurse Researcher Grants, and Independent Nurse Researcher Grants, proposals must include plans to disseminate and share findings to help improve pediatric care.
