Subscribe with a Web Browser

An RSS news reader is built into two of the new browsers available, Firefox, Safari 2 and Up, and in Internet Explorer 7. This browser feature allows you to view news headlines and events in your bookmarks toolbar. When the RSS feed updates, your bookmark automatically updates at increments set by the browser, no need to ever refresh.

Want to read a story? Just click the bookmark to go straight to that item saving you time and mouse clicks.

A site offers an RSS feed if it shows in the address bar a in Firefox and Internet Explorer or in Safari. When you click on the icon, your browser will display the feed and give you the option to subscribe. Once on this page, subscribing involves clicking on the link and choosing where you want the feed to be stored, such as in your bookmark toolbar.
